Prior to relocating to Washington State, Karen owned and operated Acrobatics Plus since 1987 in Austin Texas developing and organizing a variety of both land and aquatic programs for children and adults.  Following her passion with the healing qualities of water, Acrobatics Plus opened an aquatic facility to work with a variety of special populations and organize specialty aquatic classes.

Following relocation to Washington, she was able to continue this passion by providing aquatic therapy & rehabilitation services in Bellevue.  She lead a specialty class sponsored by the MS society while working in Bellevue.  Specializing in Autism, Karen has had vast experience working with many children and adults affected by a large variety of conditions.

This program is offered in a variety of local public & private swimming pools in the Everett and Whidbey Island area.  The mission of Aquaexcel is to promote and restore functional movement through a variety of aquatic experiences in order to share the healing benefits with as many people as possible.
